Will I need to get undressed?
Loose type clothing should be worn for Traditional Thai Massage however suitable attire can be provided if required. For full body oil massage, you may keep underwear on if you prefer. Otherwise, the therapist will ensure that the provided towels are discreetly arranged to prevent any perceived embarrassment.
REMEMBER our therapists are PROFESSIONALS and are trained and experienced enough to deal with the human body, any client embarrassment and any other natural reactions to body contact.
Gentlemen may wish to wear ‘Tanga or Speedo’ type swimming trunks for their Thai Oil massage treatment if they prefer.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Please come at least 15 minutes before your 1st appointment time in order for some consent forms and medical questionnaires to be completed . This time will also allow you to meet your therapist, relax and ask any questions that you may have.
What do you mean by qualified?
Your senior therapist May qualified in 2011 as a practitioner of the Thai Royal Standard of Traditional Thai Massage at the highly respected Traditional Massage School in Nong Khai, North East Thailand . May is certificated by the Thai Government. May has lived in Cardiff since 2007 and is the authorised therapist for the Welsh Muay Thai Boxing Team.
In addition to the assurance provided by her qualifications and experience, May also ensures that all therapists at our Spa are fully trained and have experience under her careful supervision. Will Thai Massage help me to deal with stress?
